Tea parties and what they are really representing
All this tea party jazz has liberals and the like that thought they owned marches, rallies, blogs, forums, YouTube and the like in a tizzy. They just can't believe that people would come out for causes other than; race relations, the environment or human rights. The concept that an event could happen that they haven't sanctioned is just mind numbing. On to the tea parties. I've followed a couple of liberal blogs and news reports essentially dissing anyone of the thousands involved in the tea parties as "useless", "unimportant" or "disrespecting history". Excuse me, ah what? Reminds me of the George Carlin statement: My Stuff: Have you ever noticed that your shit is stuff and someone else's stuff is shit? The idea that you can't use the term "tea party" without degrading its historical value is wrong. Historically it was used to represent taxation without representation.
