Oh boy the flu sucks

So a coworker decided that they weren't going to stay home with 'flu symptoms', instead coming to work. Well, that didn't end well from me. I got the flu on Monday night and just now, Friday, I'm almost done with it. This completely sucked. I lost a week of work and had to blow vacation time that I would have liked to use for another three letter f word, fun.

Lesson learned, from now on I'm getting a flu shot because this was physically painful and really horrible. I'd never had the flu before, now I know why people complain. It blows.

So, note to all those "sick" people that don't want to use leave...screw that! Take off, or you should be forced off without pay by all the people you infect. Just saying.

Fox News or CNN?

Ah, Fox and CNN. Where to start. Each one has its own bias. I was, for a very very long time an avid CNN viewer, literally the TV would be on CNN when I got home from work and stay there. Until the 2008 elections. I could not believe how much CNN backed the Democratic party. Almost to a point of annoyance. For every on RNC member on a panel there would be 2 DNC, usually one black man and one woman. The RNC person was almost always a white male. What I couldn't believe was the entire lack of respect for the opposing candidates on the Republican side.
