28th Amendment, a woman's right to kill a baby?

Image
Today SCOTUS decided that abortion was a woman's right, again, this has been a standing position for nearly 60 years so this isn't a shocker. However, something that is is the use of the word 'right'. It isn't a right. I think sane minds can agree that if a woman's life is in immediate danger, or a rape/incest occurred resulting in pregnancy, that these are adequate reasons to have an abortion. In in many eyes, the only reasons. It isn't a matter of choice, there is a human life in the balance. We live in a Country in which we are compassionate in killing a human baby, but not the rapist that caused the baby - we'd rather put him in prison for life, but not take his. Perhaps if a woman had to name the baby and fill out a death certificate it would make people think twice. My position isn't a religious one, it is one based on sanity and what murder is. In case you aren't aware, abortions - 90% of them - occur up/around 13 weeks. Do you know what a...

Understand what you're talking about in relation to firearms in America.

There are few things that are more annoying than people talking about topics they clearly do not understand. When I read about people commenting on gun control and throwing around statistical numbers such as "90% of people want background checks" with no source, followed quickly by "because of automatic weapons", I quite literally stop listening to another word they utter. They have no idea what they are talking about. Apparently these types of people have circled themselves with like minds and have never once had an actual debate, in which they listened, to the opposing argument. Now as a life Member of the NRA, I completely support background check as they are currently done in several States; in which the individual is scanned against prior warrants or filings of arrest. Frankly, I don't want a murderer buying a gun, but society by law has disagreed. Consider this, a Felon (say someone who murdered a person), maintains the right to vote, they also now have ...

POTUS can't stand SCOTUS.....and that is a good thing!

Image
The President didn't quite do a 'sit in' at his press conferences, but none the less he looked childish lambasting the Supreme Court for not following his agenda. Nothing more advocates for the branches of Power in the United States than his remarks. Though I completely disagree with the racist ruling SCOTUS did in regards to affirmative action - essentially telling white children they don't matter - but none the less, they are the law of the land. Meanwhile in progressive cry town: Obama called the Supreme Court's decision a setback that "takes us further from the country we aspire to be." But he predicted that an overhaul the immigration system would come eventually. "Congress isn't able to ignore America forever," he said. "It is heartbreaking for millions of immigrants who made their lives here, who raised families here," Obama said. This man clearly cares more about non-US Citizens than he does Citizens, he truly...

Shooter in Germany, killed...but let's look deeper.

German gun laws are among the most strict in the entire world. And what today, and frankly reality, shows is that making guns illegal or restricting their acquisition does NOT protect you from murderers. In fact, you have the exact same chance of being killed in Germany as in the United States. Source it: The German system of gun control is among the most stringent in Europe.  It restricts the acquisition, possession, and carrying of firearms to those with a creditable need for a weapon.  It bans fully automatic weapons and severely restricts the acquisition of other types of weapons.  Compulsory liability insurance is required for anyone who is licensed to carry firearms. In recent years, German gun-control law underwent several reforms that made it even more stringent.  A new Weapons Act became effective in 2003 after a school shooting in the city of Erfurt in which a student killed sixteen persons.  The new Act restricted the use of large caliber weap...

Democrats (and 1 Republican) in the US House of Representatives are Children.

For the last day people paid $172,000 a year have sat in the US House of Representatives and, unlike the assumed responsibility for dignity would stipulate, have sat on the floor and chanted over the Speaker as he tries to stay true to formal designs of the office. Instead of doing what they are paid to do which is be respectful dignitaries of their constituents and States, they have disgraced their Office. They took to the Floor as if they were upset children mad at a parent wouldn't let them have their way. Utilizing a political hot topic in the US they are attempting to up their chances of getting re-elected, by acting on the worst possible traits of humanity - the temper tantrum. They have no point to make, no plan, just mass confusion. Instead of attempting to work with others in their Offices to develop a true path to which limited access by known criminals to firearms can be achieved, they simply mutter rants and chants, as if America is stuck in the 1960s (over 50 years a...

Freddie Gray @ Baltimore.protest.com

Does anyone else in America think that it is insane that Cities literally prepare for violence (not protest) and riots (not gatherings) during a legislative verdict? Honestly, I thought we were against "lynch-mob justice"? Here we go again with the City of Baltimore spending tax dollars to possibly defend itself against its 'citizens'. All I can say is thank GOD this judge is black, as in the prosecution for the most part, because if he were white - oh my the calls of racism would hit the heavens. When Goodson is acquitted, as he should be, I hope the Maryland States Attorney's Office requests that Baltimore local attorneys drop the remainder of the cases. What we have here is an absurd reaction during a high-stress time by a prosecutor that acted in a ruthless manner. In fact, she should be disbarred as a result of her actions. I couldn't hope more that the defamation suits against her find positive light.

Eli Watkins, seriously....political producer covering Libertarians.....WTF.

Image
http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/22/politics/libertarian-town-hall-what-to-watch/index.html Eli Watkins Wow, CNN you honestly call this person a "Digital Producer" at CNN. He has been employed (that includes being an intern for God's sake) since 2013. I doubt you'd ever let someone this fresh off the boat cover the DEMS or REPS members - but you feel fine with Libertarians. Such a disgrace. Shocker his intern experience began for a Democrat, Hank Johnson , not that there is anything fundamentally wrong with that however this guy is no where near qualified to write in detail about the Libertarian party or base most of his limited writings, on Libertarians or political failings - much less be called a 'producer'. I'm not faulting this very young man , but stating that this would never fly as the kind of reporting expected for a DEM or REP candidate or topic. The most insane part is the bio, there is literally no real experience - so the question is "How...

Chicago, #blacklivesCLEARLYdonotmatter

Once again, a night like any other in Chicago Illinois, more than 10 people are shot - tonight was over 20. The horrible truth here is NOBODY in the media gives a shit. Not one care at all. A nightclub tragedy, a church tragedy - covered in mass, legislation, news and personalities galore; over 1400 shot in Chicago in 2016 so far, not a single care. While I disagree with 99% of the BLACKLIVESMATTER efforts (especially their tactics - progressive and moronic) I agree that there is a horrific disparity in coverage. When blacks murder blacks in mass quantities nobody cares. I don't say this to blame white people, not at all as white people aren't the ones killing these children. I say this to get folks like the BLM crew to question their own lives, their own neighbors, goals and agendas. After the latest supposed "mass shooting", which was actually a terrorist attack - but fuck logic - we have decided yet again, guns are the problem. Clearly, clearly, they are not. Gu...

Political Process in the US

The political process in the United States, with complete compliance of the media, uses humans/citizens like cattle. Simple creatures to be pushed to the right pen. The more I read by liberal progressive rags like The Washington Post, or CNN, the more I see how much these types of franchises really do hate Americans. They are against any form of individuality that doesn't fit a minority-style social-justice description, they clearly can't stand the Constitution of the United States, nor the Country's clear purpose. I suppose this is what America has become, as Thomas Jefferson believed, an unsustainable force. I fear that one day we will look back and wonder how something so special went so wrong. I offer it happens when social imperatives over come common sense; when votes matter more than the People and a system seems so jaded and corrupt that hope can only be found in a rich mogul who has never held office. I will attempt to keep an open mind but I simply cannot find a s...
