Rise and Shine.

Rise and shine. It's six am and your hand can't make it to the alarm clock fast enough before the voices in your head start telling you that its too early, too cold, and too dark to get out of bed. Aching muscles lie still in rebellion pretending not to hear your brain commanding them to move. A legion of voices are shouting their permission for you to hit the snooze button and go back to dream land. But you didn't ask their opinion. The one voice you're listening to is a voice of defiance. The voice that says there is a reason you set that alarm in the first place. So sit up, put your feet on the floor and don't look back, because we've got work to do. Welcome to the grind. For what is each day but a series of conflicts between what is the right way and the easy way. Ten thousand streams fan out like a river delta before you, each promising a path of least resistance.  Thing is you're headed up stream, and when you make that choice and decide to turn yo...

It's all about race...

You officially have nothing to go to, seriously, if race is what you use to qualify your comments in regards to criticism of the President, policy, the Attorney Generals illegal actions, hell even Trayvon. If race is your go to, you're sorely mistaken. Race is the last dying yell of a person who has nothing to go to, no facts to base their claim. It seems the dying breed of 40+ year old politicians only have one arrow left in their quiver and that is race. Even as we live in an environment where the vast majority of young America doesn't see race in anyway as a deciding factor, in nearly anything, the "old guard" continues to cling to their hyper-sensitive 60-70s racial past. They can't seem to move on, they can't find a new 'cause'. How pathetic. Keep pushing your racist points of view, blaming everything non-progressive on a race relation issue. Continue to look absurd. I long for the reign of my generation, one that doesn't see race as a decidin...

The media myth of a gun-violence America

Image
Undoubtedly you've heard of gun-violence in America, you've probably been told it is of epidemic proportion and most likely you've been told that more laws are necessary to save lives - now for what you haven't been told. America, bar none, is the largest free society in existence, people in America have more freedom of expression and action than any other Nation on the planet (no matter what some in the media would have you believe). One of the foundations to this freedom is the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights, deemed to every American citizen by their Creator - not by their Government. In these rights you're provided, as a Citizen, speech, religion, security protections from intrusion, equality, fair justice and one other item, one that guarantees the others, the 2nd Amendment - the Right to Bear Arms. The RtB is more than just a passing note between the 1st and 3rd Amendments, there is a reason it was so prominently featured in the Bill of Rights, it is ...

Serious discussion on Gun Control

I see random headlines constantly that read "tougher play on Gun Control", "tough stance on Gun Control", "Rethink Gun Control". And I completely, Agree. We need a tougher and rethought stance on Gun Control - the removal of it. For decades America has sought to stop violence of a free society by putting restrictions on guns, most recently pimping a tragedy for their benefits. The fact of the matter is that gun crimes are down historically, in fact they've been going down since the mid-1990s. And in the 1990's gun related homicides peaked just two years after the original "Assault Weapons Ban" went into effect. Pretty much proving that the ban had little if any impact on gun homicides. What we should be doing is rethinking why we have attempted to address a symptom and never the cause. Violence is prevalent in a large amount of American society but we refuse to address it. People, children are murdered daily in city streets but rarely...

Detroit in financial ruin.

Well shocker, Detroit is in financial collapse and now..it's documented by an outside party. Maybe trading the future for today through Democrat non-sense was a bad way to go? Oddly this reads the the theme to Robocop..... In the near future,  Detroit ,  Michigan  is on the verge of collapse due to financial ruin and unchecked crime. The mega-corporation  Omni Consumer Products (OCP) enters into a contract with the city to run the  police force . OCP plans to demolish "Old Detroit" and redevelop it as a high-end  utopia  called "Delta City." To address the city's crime, OCP tests several projects to engineer robotic law enforcement.

Book burning in the 21st Century

Yesterday the United States Government decided it would partake in a modern day book-burning. Much like Nazi Germany in the 1930's, which wished to burn the titles of Jewish writers in an attempt to remove a "knowledge problem", the US Government decided it would attempt to remove "a knowledge problem" by removing open source plans for a 3D model plastic gun. The US Government had absolutely, 100%, no jurisdiction to take the plans, but did so anyway for "security", sounds an awful lot like Hitler's rationale for the Rhineland. America should be concerned. We have DHS buying millions of rounds of ammunition and extreme armored personnel carriers, social security buying ammunition and now peoples freedom to express knowledge stripped of them.  The question is, where is America heading? Is this the change Obama spoke of, the fundamental change? Seems so. The amazing part is that for years the left-media railed against Bush for encroaching on Citi...

Climate Confusion unfolds before our Eyes.

When I was growing up Climate Confusion was just ramping up in full swing. Schools were focusing on Global Warming and man's direct effect on the Ozone Layer, which was believed to cause the heating of the planet. Chemical companies were told to switch from aerosol based CFC cans because it was thought this ate away at the protective atmosphere of the Globe. As time moved on terminology changed, Global Warming gave way to Climate Change. Climate change helped Environmentalists avoid having to deal with the constant questioning of "if the world is getting hotter, why is there more ice and less heat?" So called scientists that favored Climate Confusion made a point of highlighting needle-fine points instead of explaining entire stories. Now we find that the United States has the coldest spring on record, Arkansas has snow in May and the United States has had less tornadoes in 2012-2013 on record that previously anticipated. So the question remains, if this so-called sci...
