I'm so tired of hearing analysts, former players and current players ramble on and on about how McNabb is "elite". Well if we define Elite in Jim Kelly terms, meaning you can't win the big game, then yes he is. Statistically McNabb is great however statistics don't win rings. McNabb has been the point man for over a decade and has yet to clinch. Everyone likes to point to receiving core or other surrounding members of the team. How about the fact that number five can't throw without 8 snaps of rhythm, or the fact that he tends to lay receivers out and throw to the ground? He is terrible at pinpoint passes. Point of fact is McNabb, dating back to college, can't win the big game. He can't handle pressure. Who cares about going to the playoffs or a winning record if it never amounts to anything. Do you think the Patriots give a crap about an undefeated season or the fact that they didn't with the Superbowl? Is Kolb the replacement? Who knows, nobody ...

The AFC is not the great powerhouse of the NFL that it once was. It use to be, in the days of the Patriots and Steelers, that the NFL season would always conclude with an AFC win for the Lombardi trophy. Not so much now. In 2010 there were at least 5 teams in the NFC that could dismantle the best from the AFC. That is unusual. Seems the tide has shifted. As for the latest SB champs, the NO Saints. Well what can I say, I guess I like Drew Brees? Personally I hate the city of New Orleans, in my trips there it has always been a colossal dump full of drunks, trash and prostitutes. Maybe I was in the wrong town? Then a Hurricane comes 5 years ago and all the sudden everyone loves New Orleans, whatever I guess. So on to football. The Saints have to be the first team in NFL history to win a trophy without having a defense. Maybe it is time to throw out all those "Defense Wins Championships" t-shirts.
