The World According to Me.

The President was quoted yesterday saying "you'd think these people would be happy" because taxes in 2010 are lower, in general, then prior years. Well sir, people realize when you sign 780B TARP projects and 800B health care bills while you have hundreds of billions of dollars going to two wars with no concept of how to pay them and you have generated a 14T dollar debt (fyi, Bush had it around 7T and people went crazy on the democratic side). People aren't as dumb as you believe Mr.President, they know a bill will come due on this. They are thinking past today and looking at tomorrow. Granted, this is unusual. Usually the US population acts very much like sheep, just look to the Clinton presidency. All people saw during Clintons reign was high DOW and easy money and easy life. They didn't care that troops were slaughtered in Mogadishu or US embassies were blown up left and right in Africa, all they cared about was themselves. Now, people are looking past themselv...

Link Wonderful, at a time when everyone is struggling and we're attempting to grow jobs the wonderful government does what, raises taxes on businesses. Again this social welfare state takes over making it nearly impossible to get out of anything without government involvement. Once again we will make someone else flip the bill for others because the government is the king of all mismanagement of funds. The government is acting like a meth addict who keeps saying 'just give me a little more and it will be alright' well, as with the meth addict, it will not be alright. You can not continue to tax, tax, tax your way out of problems. That is exactly what caused the American Revolution from England in 1776. A state can not and should not go down the road of feeling as though it can 'at will' tax companies because 'they aren't citizens'.
