Rise and Shine.

Rise and shine. It's six am and your hand can't make it to the alarm clock fast enough before the voices in your head start telling you that its too early, too cold, and too dark to get out of bed. Aching muscles lie still in rebellion pretending not to hear your brain commanding them to move. A legion of voices are shouting their permission for you to hit the snooze button and go back to dream land. But you didn't ask their opinion. The one voice you're listening to is a voice of defiance. The voice that says there is a reason you set that alarm in the first place. So sit up, put your feet on the floor and don't look back, because we've got work to do. Welcome to the grind. For what is each day but a series of conflicts between what is the right way and the easy way. Ten thousand streams fan out like a river delta before you, each promising a path of least resistance.  Thing is you're headed up stream, and when you make that choice and decide to turn yo...

It's all about race...

You officially have nothing to go to, seriously, if race is what you use to qualify your comments in regards to criticism of the President, policy, the Attorney Generals illegal actions, hell even Trayvon. If race is your go to, you're sorely mistaken. Race is the last dying yell of a person who has nothing to go to, no facts to base their claim. It seems the dying breed of 40+ year old politicians only have one arrow left in their quiver and that is race. Even as we live in an environment where the vast majority of young America doesn't see race in anyway as a deciding factor, in nearly anything, the "old guard" continues to cling to their hyper-sensitive 60-70s racial past. They can't seem to move on, they can't find a new 'cause'. How pathetic. Keep pushing your racist points of view, blaming everything non-progressive on a race relation issue. Continue to look absurd. I long for the reign of my generation, one that doesn't see race as a decidin...

The media myth of a gun-violence America

Image
Undoubtedly you've heard of gun-violence in America, you've probably been told it is of epidemic proportion and most likely you've been told that more laws are necessary to save lives - now for what you haven't been told. America, bar none, is the largest free society in existence, people in America have more freedom of expression and action than any other Nation on the planet (no matter what some in the media would have you believe). One of the foundations to this freedom is the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights, deemed to every American citizen by their Creator - not by their Government. In these rights you're provided, as a Citizen, speech, religion, security protections from intrusion, equality, fair justice and one other item, one that guarantees the others, the 2nd Amendment - the Right to Bear Arms. The RtB is more than just a passing note between the 1st and 3rd Amendments, there is a reason it was so prominently featured in the Bill of Rights, it is ...

Serious discussion on Gun Control

I see random headlines constantly that read "tougher play on Gun Control", "tough stance on Gun Control", "Rethink Gun Control". And I completely, Agree. We need a tougher and rethought stance on Gun Control - the removal of it. For decades America has sought to stop violence of a free society by putting restrictions on guns, most recently pimping a tragedy for their benefits. The fact of the matter is that gun crimes are down historically, in fact they've been going down since the mid-1990s. And in the 1990's gun related homicides peaked just two years after the original "Assault Weapons Ban" went into effect. Pretty much proving that the ban had little if any impact on gun homicides. What we should be doing is rethinking why we have attempted to address a symptom and never the cause. Violence is prevalent in a large amount of American society but we refuse to address it. People, children are murdered daily in city streets but rarely...

Detroit in financial ruin.

Well shocker, Detroit is in financial collapse and now..it's documented by an outside party. Maybe trading the future for today through Democrat non-sense was a bad way to go? Oddly this reads the the theme to Robocop..... In the near future,  Detroit ,  Michigan  is on the verge of collapse due to financial ruin and unchecked crime. The mega-corporation  Omni Consumer Products (OCP) enters into a contract with the city to run the  police force . OCP plans to demolish "Old Detroit" and redevelop it as a high-end  utopia  called "Delta City." To address the city's crime, OCP tests several projects to engineer robotic law enforcement.

Book burning in the 21st Century

Yesterday the United States Government decided it would partake in a modern day book-burning. Much like Nazi Germany in the 1930's, which wished to burn the titles of Jewish writers in an attempt to remove a "knowledge problem", the US Government decided it would attempt to remove "a knowledge problem" by removing open source plans for a 3D model plastic gun. The US Government had absolutely, 100%, no jurisdiction to take the plans, but did so anyway for "security", sounds an awful lot like Hitler's rationale for the Rhineland. America should be concerned. We have DHS buying millions of rounds of ammunition and extreme armored personnel carriers, social security buying ammunition and now peoples freedom to express knowledge stripped of them.  The question is, where is America heading? Is this the change Obama spoke of, the fundamental change? Seems so. The amazing part is that for years the left-media railed against Bush for encroaching on Citi...

Climate Confusion unfolds before our Eyes.

When I was growing up Climate Confusion was just ramping up in full swing. Schools were focusing on Global Warming and man's direct effect on the Ozone Layer, which was believed to cause the heating of the planet. Chemical companies were told to switch from aerosol based CFC cans because it was thought this ate away at the protective atmosphere of the Globe. As time moved on terminology changed, Global Warming gave way to Climate Change. Climate change helped Environmentalists avoid having to deal with the constant questioning of "if the world is getting hotter, why is there more ice and less heat?" So called scientists that favored Climate Confusion made a point of highlighting needle-fine points instead of explaining entire stories. Now we find that the United States has the coldest spring on record, Arkansas has snow in May and the United States has had less tornadoes in 2012-2013 on record that previously anticipated. So the question remains, if this so-called sci...

Laid Back Obama.

Image
Amazing, seriously amazing. America is in the greatest global decline since the crash of 1929 and involved in more wars around the world than it has ever been, yet the President is just "chilling". America is in a permanent recession which has had global impact. Nations have fallen, Governments have crumbled during the current tenure, hundreds of thousands have died. Instead of taking a stand on critical issues with global impact, POTUS focuses on localized social issues to garner votes for Democrat candidates. I once wondered how Bush could ever be looked upon as a successful President, thanks to Obama, I have been shown. Obama has continued nearly every global policy Bush had in place, as well as most tax policies. Bush established the withdrawal timeline for Iraq, Obama continued it. Bush established terrorist policies for Guantanamo  Obama continued it. Bush-Era tax cuts, continued by Obama, low and detrimental interest rates, continued under Obama. A war in Afgha...

Eugene Robinson - at it again...now on Bush

The king of haters, Eugene Robinson, who is known to make things up as he goes along, does so again for the Washington Post . Eugene alludes to 6,000 CIA documents about torture, and somehow tries to pretend as though Bush didn't sign the Reduction of Force Agreement with Iraq nor that Bush commented on the sustained effects of the Taliban. Eugene, Eugene, Eugene, seriously, you should be a blogger or of Twitter fame because you're just making things up at this point. Please, for the love of GOD, put the Kool-Aid down.

Defining Terrorism.

There was an interesting book written that attempted to allude that Palestinians blowing up an Israeli restaurant was not an act of terrorism, but a retaliation for Government/Army action. My opinion, that is complete horse shit. That statement could only be argued if an Army or Government installation was attacked - even then it is more a terrorist act than retaliation unless you are in a state of declared war. Blowing up soft target citizens is an act of a coward, which most terrorists are. Cowards attack things they know have little chance of fighting back or being prepared. In nearly all cases terrorists only attack people, not the military, and attempt to create complete chaos, not a military victory.

Awe, Lord America how dumb are you? Banning pressure cookers and backpacks?

Here we go, America once again sets the bar for knee jerk reaction stupidity. Instead of realizing Boston for what it was, a one-off attempt by dbags at disrupting American life, we must react with the ultimate in dumb. First off, I never shopped at "Williams Sonoma" and now I never will. They pulled pressure cookers from their shelves out of "respect", really? Did Scotts stop making fertilizer our of respect after McVeigh murdered hundreds of folks? Nope. And better yet, the Kentucky Derby is banning backpacks . Apparently nut jobs are too dumb to build a bomb in a beer cooler. America, you've failed, the terrorists have won. Our internal policies and stupidity has done far more damage to the "American Dream" than any outsider ever could have.

Do What I Say, Not What I Do - Avoiding Obamacare.

Well you guessed it, officials are finding way to protect themselves and their friends from having to participate in ObamaCare - LET THEM EAT CAKE! http://www.politico.com/story/2013/04/obamacare-exemption-lawmakers-aides-90610.html And while we're up under the great King Obama, his friends also don't need to worry about furloughs. http://thehill.com/blogs/healthwatch/health-reform-implementation/295877-official-no-furloughs-for-office-implementing-obamacare

Eugene Robinson, you couldn't be more full of crap.

Eugene Robinson, a hapless writer for the Washington Post, enjoys making up unquoated statistics to barrage a reader with some false perception to further a 'cause'. In the latest debatchery Eugene quotes "30,000 lives (are lost) in the country each year", that is a 100% falsehood. There were less than 13,000 people murdered in 2011 in the United States, 8,500 of those were by firearms that is per the FBI Bureau of Statistics. Even the made up number by Eugene doesn't come in higher that auto fatalaties alone, in fact more people are killed with pharmaceutical drugs per year than firearms.  See this is the inherint problem when we let emotion find a place in decision making, and again why anti-gun nuts find it hard to get legislation passed. Because  after all the 24/7 media plastering of crying people, pan shots of schools and "lock down" procedures, society realizes that these events are far and few between - that isolating laws about a particular on...

Mega props to the Boston Police and FBI.

I don't care who you are or what you think, you have got to be impressed by the Boston Police and FBI. They screened millions of leads, went through a city and in less than 6 days killed or captured the people involved. Outstanding across the board.

Shameful Day - my ass Obama.

I'm officially going to blow my top on this one. Obama called the failure of the "gun control" bill in the Senate a "shameful day", really POTUS? Seems you're entirely out of touch with America. Yes, you can keep quoting your bullshit "40% don't have background check" non-sense from your study of less than 1000 gun owners. You can also quit the "90% of America wants more gun control" non-sense that CNN runs for you. Maybe you liberal ass, maybe, America doesn't want you to rape the 2nd Amendement? Maybe perhaps the NRA isn't the problem, your socialist - monopolistic - narcissistic views are? Did you ever consider not everyone, hell, not even the majority of America agrees with you. Your Democratically controlled Senate couldn't pass your horrible destruction of the 2nd Amendement. If you had nearly the support you pretended you had, you'd have passed this easily..hell you probably could repeal the 2nd, if you real...

Not a Republican, but some of these Demo-Op-Eds are absurd...

Washington Post Op-Ed by Greg Sargent was absolutely absurd today. Of a poll of 1,003 adults surveyed by the Wash Post (remember a paper that backed Obama, twice) says that it finds 23% of those polled can relate to the Republican Party. Now, I'm not a Republican, I'm a Libertarian which means I tend to believe one should rely on themselves more than the Government - that said..this is ridiculous  Why are such absurd poll counts even commented on. There are over 300,000,000 people in the United States, only 1,003 even participated in this poll. I wish for just one second the "media" could be objective and realize that most Americans are just as unsatisfied with the Democratic Party as they are with the Republican Party. It isn't as if Americans are jumping for joy over Obama. Remember he won the popular vote by 52% which means nearly just as many Americans didn't like him. America is in political disarray because the Democratic Party as a whole has been o...

North Korea is best Korea

North Korea has been rattling their make-shift saber for the last few weeks, and can you blame them? I mean the US sends two carrier groups to the Med and Gulf of Yemen to keep Iran at bay, but only send a destroyer and a submarine to North Korean. Kim must be so upset that he can't get attention even though he actually has a nuclear weapon. Then to add tot he fun the US insists on flying two whole B2's over South Korea, yet has used B2's continuously over the middle-east. What a bummer, you can't get much attention in "Best Korea". American needs to realize that countries that are still living in the 1950's don't truly realize what they're up against.  I mean, we are deploying "laser guns" off of Iran, and Best Korea is recycling 1980 style Soviet launch systems. Not only could Best Korea not hit the continental US with a missile, it isn't going to get a missile over Japan. Poor Best Korea :(

Not your usual crazy - GUN control.

Well it isn't your usual crazy, we're all very accustom to the US Government taking its time to create legislation that makes little if any sense, but taking no time at all to review whats on the books for validity. That said, the next degree of dumb is coming in the form of gun control where it seems that legislaturs just want to do 'something', whether it helps society or not. The Administration keeps saying "90% of America wants gun control", well if that is accurate it shouldn't be hard at all to get a 2/3 State vote to modify the 2nd Amendement of the Constitution - so do it. The reason you haven't seen this change to the Amendement suggested is because the Administration knows that the made up statistic is nonsense. It is really a shame that America refuses to demand more of its leaders. I'm hoping the Supreme Court makes some type of statement in regards to the waste of time of this type of legislation and informs the States that they ar...

Political Correctness is seriously taking a leap for the surreal.

Once again the NFL franchise the Washington Redskins find themselves in dispute over their name. The team choose the name to represent power and superiority and for some reason because less than 1% of America has an issue with that, and it is probably more like less than .00001%, the team might have to change their name. This is absurd. Political correctness is insane at this level. This would be a different story if the Redskins was used in a derogatory fashion and was mocking and making fun of Native American people, but it isn't. This is absolutely no different than the Atlanta Braves or the Cleveland Indians - and they take the same heat for the same reason. It is high time that we stopped cowering in America to every lone voice. We care constantly looking for the next Civil Rights movement, apparently. The woman who is attempting, yet again, to get the Redskins to change their name, has waged a nearly life long battle against the NFL team. She has received no mass sup...

Gay Marriage in America - a simple solution.

Gay marriage always seems to be this complex drawn out thing in America with a combination of moral fiber wrapped in freedoms. But what has complicated this issue isn't the issue itself, it is the Governments want and need to tax everything. There are over 1,100 Statutes that cover "marriage" in the Federal Government, why? Why do Insurance companies care if your "spouse" is male or female? What is the point? There should be no sense of "marriage" in the Federal Government, or Insurance for that matter. Marriage is something performed by a Church, and is generally a 'religious' event. So lets be simple and make this easy, remove Marriage from Government - create "Civil Unions" universally in the Federal Government if you must apply "law" to couples, but Marriage shouldn't be mentioned.
