So the greedy sand people of OPEC decided to cut production because they want $100/bbl oil. Sadly, their production cut of 1.5M bbl/day actually led to a FALL in oil prices! Awesome.

You should ONLY back someone you believe in and agree with. Not partially agree with, not think can win, not wouldn't it be cool, but someone you actually agree with. Don't get force fed candidates by the media, instead look around. Read. Kick over a few rocks, and find someone that you could actually sit back and say "this person will do a great job". Remember both the Rep and Dem party are responsible for the mess the country is in now. It couldn't have happened without shared responsibility. And as election time nears, they all point fingers and they all cast blame...but none say "hey, ya know what? Government was the problem and thus, I was the problem". Government, both Dems and Reps stopped working for the "people" a long time ago. They will continue to attempt to mandate via tax code and legislation, what is good for you in their eyes and with their agenda in the forefront.

The day after the election, thank God. Then CNN can shut up.

iChat on the Mac is one of the best IM tools I've used. It takes what was good about GMail chat and customizes it for the Mac. Great IMO, though I know there are some out there who don't think so :)

All this stimulus package garbage in the US is non-sense. All it is is redistribution of wealth as dictated by the government. Taking money from those who do well to aid those who don't. The problem is, this simply is not part of the capitalistic system. If the US wishes to be socialist, fine, then organize energy supplies and limit fuel costs per government constraint. Also, socialize medicine and the infrastructure of the country. You can't simply limit it to getting votes or bailing out banks.
