Hey "wait" on your tax refund.

So because Congress passed tax laws in the last month of the year, the IRS wants filers to "wait" on getting their deductions in. How about I wait on paying you any taxes? I really wish people would make a big deal out of this, but they aren't going to. They are too busy trying to figure out what their "top 10 music of 2010" was to give a crap about continuing to get screwed.

All the filers that would have filed in January to get money, that the government 'stole', back have to wait and wait and wait. While the government collects interest on the taxes collected. Does this sound fair to....anyone? What if you decided not to pay your taxes because you'd made changes in your life and the government needed to "wait" to a pre-defined time. How do you think that would fly? Pretty sure, unless your a Congressman or Cabinet member, you'd be going to jail and fined. Yeah, for some reason the laws don't apply to the Cabinet (cough Tres Secretary) or Congress (hi Rangel).

Read it, apparently because the IRS is such a debacle they can't move forward until February with anyone who takes any time to file their taxes. My guess, if you looked at that "third" that itemize tax returns, they'd all be upper middle-class or higher. Just another way to say, "can't you be dumb and just click standard deduction?".

This whole tax system is a sham, a fraud, that people are simply to 'busy' to bother with until they either; have to pay, or want something from the government. As I sit here sending in quarterly tax payments I can't help but feel like writing a note stating "hey, wait till August 2011 because I've made some financial changes I haven't quite calculated yet". But then I'm pretty sure that 'Federal' employee that, according to the media, makes more than everyone else, would simply get stuck on their checklist.

America, expect better.
