Poor Cruise Ship....

By now you most likely have heard or read about the Cruise ship Triumph that was stranded in the Gulf of Mexico. What is absurd is how many over-reacting fools are saying "see, thats why I'd never get on a cruise ship" or "man what's with these ships" - really? Folks, every day thousands of people get off of cruise ships that had no issue at all. Do you want every single cruise that went fine headlining the news? Comments that somehow attempt to lay a gauntlet for cruise lines based on a few incidents and even fewer deaths is absurd. You still by far have much greater odds of dying in a car crash than being stranded on a cruise ship. Try to keep things in context.

Fox News or CNN?

Ah, Fox and CNN. Where to start. Each one has its own bias. I was, for a very very long time an avid CNN viewer, literally the TV would be on CNN when I got home from work and stay there. Until the 2008 elections. I could not believe how much CNN backed the Democratic party. Almost to a point of annoyance. For every on RNC member on a panel there would be 2 DNC, usually one black man and one woman. The RNC person was almost always a white male. What I couldn't believe was the entire lack of respect for the opposing candidates on the Republican side.
