Marine arrested for carrying legal firearm at Empire State Building.

A Marine was arrested when attempting to check his legally owned firearm. He had a carry permit from another state, here in lies the problem, that states license to carry isn't recognized in NY state. Now I'm a lifer in the NRA and a huge supporter of independent rights and the 2nd amendment, however, I need to take a different side on this issue. One thing you're taught when applying for a right to carry a firearm is rules of other states. In this case, the Marine should have known his right to carry was not national. Should he face a felony? Of course not, it is a legitimate error and he had no intent to do anything illegal - however - it is illegal in New York. Sorry NRA friends, this Marine should have known better.

What are you teaching your children, Trump protesters?

Since November 8th 2016 Americans throughout the Country have been engaging in some of the most absurd and disgusting activities imaginable. Instead of embracing a Nation they profess to love too much to leave, they have throw an adult temper-tantrum. Sixty million people elected Trump, 60 million did not - like most elections the separation of winner and lose was divided by a minimal number of Electoral votes. As a result, a few hundred thousand Americans have decided to make America look like any common third-world Country, minus dirt. What these "protesters" are protesting remains unknown, is it America? POTUS can't stand SCOTUS.....and that is a good thing!

The President didn't quite do a 'sit in' at his press conferences, but none the less he looked childish lambasting the Supreme Court for not following his agenda. Nothing more advocates for the branches of Power in the United States than his remarks. Though I completely disagree with the racist ruling SCOTUS did in regards to affirmative action - essentially telling white children they don't matter - but none the less, they are the law of the land. Meanwhile in progressive cry town: Obama called the Supreme Court's decision a setback that "takes us further from the country we aspire to be." But he predicted that an overhaul the immigration system would come eventually. "Congress isn't able to ignore America forever," he said.
