Any moron who attempts to blame the current "Gov shutdown talk" on one party over the other, is the definition of an asshole. This is entirely all of their faults. These people have been routinely re-elected for doing absolutely nothing, because the populace doesn't actually pay attention. Long ago they made a determination about what "party" they were affiliated with, and ever since then they have voted that way. Of the people I know less than 10% have switched parties over time, that means the rest are simply towing the line of their parents, or decisions they made at 18. That is the scary fact of America. Most American's aren't paying any attention until it is too late. Whether you are conservative, liberal, anarchist, libertarian, tea party, or whatever you call your "thoughts" you have failed. Whether it is NSA supposedly reading your e-mail or "stop and frisk" laws in New York City, have you noticed the tone of discussion? Have you happened to catch that these "issues" are always placed on the level that is doing the work; what I mean is statements like "NSA was reading your email" and "NYC is stopping people at random" never seem to include that they are simply enforcing legislation that YOUR elected officials wrote. NSA didn't write its authority, or the law, neither did the NYC Police, yet the discussion is never about how the legislation was drafted or who was behind it, instead it is only about who is executing it. You never see politicians or the media going "who wrote this law?" it is always "why are they doing this?", again, as if these bodies wrote their laws. So today a military court ruled that Manning wasn't guilty of aiding the enemy, but pretty much guilty of everything else. I only have one question, if a soldier during WWII handed Nazis hundreds of thousands of DoD documents from the US Army, would that have been treason? Guess not. Who knew. That said, does anyone even remember what the hell Manning released? Honestly, I think these "freedom" folks are full of crap. It isn't as if they give away new weapons secrets, more so what a Senator had for dinner. Kinda pointless. Manning has completely trashed his name, his only job now will be writing crappy books that liberal college professors force their students to read. Every day, without fail sadly, black people are murdered in mass within Chicago Illinois. Chicago, a city with some of the toughest gun laws in the Nation, but a city that has virtually turned its back on black-on-black crime. Instead of focusing on rebuilding a culture and neighborhood, promoting accountability and responsibility, the city has relied on hand outs. Here I will track simply the daily violence. I am continually amazed by what constitutes a headline in America. Here we have a hispanic that kills a black and it is literally all the media rage for months. During the same time, hundreds of blacks, whites, hispanics are shot and murdered all over the Country with not an element of fan fair from the media or public. It is something of spectacle. Chicago alone has had over 100 people killed this year, as has Baltimore Maryland, yet there are no planned marches, media coverage, discussions in the public eye, it all goes by as a non-issue. So the question for America is, why the fake rage? Why pretend you're concerned about violence when you're actions prove otherwise? In fact take a look at the non-sense, fake, conspired "rally" or "protest". All setup by a few to show some faux outrage about something - though none can define it. There is a serious problem with the "culture" within the United States, the statistics are actually alarming. I like to use Chicago as a baseline because it is a city that for the entire time I've been alive and long before it has been entirely run by Democrats. First I'll point to a study done on youth (14-24) within Chicago, out of those polled 25% had firearms (nearly all illegal) but aside from the ease at which these people grab guns illegally in a city with some of the toughest gun laws in the Nation, the rationale for 'why' they had guns was more astounding. Is anyone else tired of America's focus on gay marriage and court rulings on it? It is so ridiculous, the Federal government should not weigh in one way or another in regards to Morals and Marriage. It is not their place, it is however, a States place, because a State is truly led by its people. Now I am by no means a fan of hers, never watched her shows, never purchased her products - not necessarily because I don't like her, more so because I'm not big on cooking. There has been some hype recently over Sen. McCains trip to Syria by members of his own party. Some have pointed to this as a divide in the GOP, I say, more of a changing of the Guard. Sen. Paul addressed McCain's suggestion to send weapons to Syrian rebels by saying "we don't even know who they are" so of course, why would we arm them? Makes complete sense. You see, McCain's logic is based on cold-war era thinking, think 80's Afghanistan, Iran-Contra, Bay of Pigs, etc. the type of thinking where 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend'. While that method of doing business may  have worked nearly a half-century earlier, it no longer applies. America finds itself not so much challenged by Nation States as individual groups and sects.
