Attack of the Drones
It is truly amazing that at a time when we can't get a standard answer from the Department of Justice and the executive Branch of the U.S. Government, drone records in the U.S. Air Force are suddenly deleted. Meanwhile ancient member of the Republican party berate their younger counterparts for dare questioning policies in regards to drones killing Americans. Rand Paul made an impact this week on the United States, his 13 hour discussion on the controversial relationship to drones and Americans, and his simple question of "can Americans in America be killed by US drones?", set a milestone. For years the U.S. Government has ran nearly unquestioned in terms of what they were dissolved from the Bill of Rights. Finally a member of Congress has stood up to the insanity. I think this came as a great shock to the Administration and both the Ruling Parties.
After the shock and awe of being called out, Eric Holder responded with three sentences to Rand Paul. And the absurdity of it all, he sent his email first to the media then to the Senator. The note said that Eric Holder's answer was "no", American need not fear being killed by US drones in the United States. Now it would seem that the question alone is ridiculous, however, given the Administration and previous Administrations bleeding over attack on the Bill of Rights...it was essential, critical and unavoidable. I praise Rand Paul!
