Absurd Gun Laws.
The next up in the absurd gun law category is Connecticut with its "certificate to buy ammo", really, you need to get certified to execute your Bill of Rights? OK, but I don't need an ID to vote, that would infringe on my rights..right? Next up, "gun owner insurance", so you're saying I need to purchase insurance incase something happens with my guns, hmm, is the insurance company ready for that type of liability and how exactly does that impact a criminal at all? No criminal is going to care about a gun insurance law, all that does is impact directly law abiding citizens. That is it, no more no less. It also pads the bank accounts of insurance companies who are already well padded by Government demands that all drivers have insurance and bank demands that all homes have it.
Now let's assume any of this non-sense became law, where does it stop? Why can't we force people to be licensed to have a blog (1st Amendement Right), force them to be certified to Vote, force them to apply for certification to avoid search and seizure, make them pay a tax to not have troops boarded at their residence. Where does it stop!?!
It doesn't. See people look at these types of comments and laugh, "that would never happen", really? Are you so sure? Fifty years ago nobody would have thought there would be a law against tobacco, a law for abortion, a law demanding you pay for healthcare yet, we have them. The unthinkable is only so until it isn't.
Pay attention America the rights are yours, not the Governments. The People of America give the Government its power, not vice-versa.
