The World needs to take a position on Iran - America is the only Global Power.

I wonder the impacts of these actions on the poorest Nations/people in the world. The games played between a 2nd World Country and a 1st World ones. In the US, we hear something like this and I'd offer most don't pay attention at all - unless as part of some party rally cry to one end or another. And those that actually care aren't so impacted, what's the worst that can happen? But, to Countries not so established that rely substantially on oil for energy, and must rely on these shipping routes and hope/pray they are defended. What happens to those people, the vast majority of the world? So far the only true provocation towards the US has been shooting down a surveillance drone. No US flagged or ported ship has been touched. UAE, Indian, UK, Japan and others have, but not the US. Iran isn't made of stupid people, they know that if they openly attacked American vessels or Americans that wouldn't be good for their Country. They are playing a shrewd game. Other Countries that sit back and watch, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, all the Gulf States, and the rest of the World Stage players, waiting for what - the US to make a decision for them, the US to point to a path? It's time the rest of the world decided if it is comfortable with Iran. It is time the rest of the world declared its hand and put its chips on the table.

The US should not be playing the lead role here. To simplify terms, true leaders create new leaders - I see no new leaders, almost none in 70 years. Russia and China have proven that while they are part of the main act, they lack the ability to actually lead. They cower in the face of 'global' decisions. I'd love to put my chips on India and encourage that Nation - the one that immediately sent escort boats for its ships. They could be a substantial global powerhouse if a few larger economies simply helped them. But that was a tangent. It is quite clear that there are no other 'global' powers in the world aside from the US.

Fox News or CNN?

Ah, Fox and CNN. Where to start. Each one has its own bias. I was, for a very very long time an avid CNN viewer, literally the TV would be on CNN when I got home from work and stay there. Until the 2008 elections. I could not believe how much CNN backed the Democratic party. Almost to a point of annoyance.
