Solar panels, eww they are ugly

California NEVER ceases to amaze me. Sen. Dianne Feinstein doesn't want solar panels in the Mojave, even though they technically could power the entire country for a year, because they would not be in the spirit of conservation. WTF is she talking about? How is not burning coal for energy NOT in conservationists best interests? Cali, have a quake already and fall off :)


WASHINGTON (AP) -- California's Mojave Desert may seem ideally suited for solar energy production, but concern over what several proposed projects might do to the aesthetics of the region and its tortoise population is setting up a potential clash between conservationists and companies seeking to develop renewable energy.

Nineteen companies have submitted applications to build solar or wind facilities on a parcel of 500,000 desert acres, but Sen. Dianne Feinstein said Friday such development would violate the spirit of what conservationists had intended when they donated much of the land to the public.

Fox News or CNN?

Ah, Fox and CNN. Where to start. Each one has its own bias. I was, for a very very long time an avid CNN viewer, literally the TV would be on CNN when I got home from work and stay there. Until the 2008 elections. I could not believe how much CNN backed the Democratic party. Almost to a point of annoyance. For every on RNC member on a panel there would be 2 DNC, usually one black man and one woman. The RNC person was almost always a white male.
