You're kidding right, VA study if burn pits are bad...
Burn Pits - in all basic form, the burning of large quantities of..."crud". The DoD does this in a war zone as a form of clean up. For decades the practice has been in place and the VA is just now studying to see if this is a health problem for soldiers et. al.. Really? Really?!? We need a study for this? I'd think it would be obvious to assume that if smoking cigarettes is bad for you, inhaling burning toxic fumes is probably bad too. I know I'm going out on a limb. How about you skip that study and fund research to create a plausible respiration system for soldiers to use in the field when "burn pits" are necessary???
Oh, smoke is bad
