A new low in gun legislation

NEW CALIFORNIA GUN LAW FOR 2017:

People will no longer be able to buy semi-automatic rifles that have a bullet button allowing removal of the ammunition magazine, commonly used in mass shootings. Those that have such weapons will have to register them with the state.

This is without a doubt the dumbest thing I've heard liberals say about guns this year, and it made it into a law. A "bullet button (est. 2007)", formerly known as a magazine release. Apparently California believes that if guns forced you to essentially unscrew the magazine from the gun with some type of tool, the insanely low levels of mass shooting would be even more irrelevant on society. This is the type of emotional, nonsensical, legislation that only hurts America. There is absolutely no benefit, this will not stop a single crime.

They claim that this legislation was born from the San Bernardino TERRORIST attack. However, even in that case, the rifles were illegally modified. So yet again, dumb laws with no actual purpose. And that is really the problem, if you'd like to cut back on gun violence, the gun is the wrong place to start. Very few crimes with a gun are committed by the actual legal gun owner (estimated somewhere around 10%). So, clearly it isn't people following the law that is the issue. As Chicago or Baltimore have clearly defined, gun violence generally results in high-poverty majority black neighborhoods, Terrorist attacks, well those aren't regular gun violence and shouldn't be even remotely lumped in. But in America, we can't delve in to black violence, because apparently that becomes racist. Policy has continued to ensure that black violence against blacks and urban destruction will readily occur. See the majority of legally owned firearms are owned by white men who don't live in the city, so why so much violence? Well clearly it isn't guns, nor white people - as insane race bating Democrats would have you believe. The majority of gun violence in America occurs in roughly 5 cities (Chicago, LA, NY, St Louis, Baltimore) - in fact Chicago alone makes up almost 15% of the gun violence in ALL of America. Let that sink in.
This is just further highlighting why the Founders of the United States established State rights to be paramount - and that includes the Electoral College. Allowing one State that clearly is off the charts logically to dictate laws to the others would simply drive the US closer to a second Civil War.

The vast majority of any gun related homicide or shooting comes from a handgun, and generally a repeat offender. But instead of focusing on scientific aspects, they troll out scared people and children in an emotional push to give the Government more controls all under the guise of "security and safety".

Fox News or CNN?

Ah, Fox and CNN. Where to start. Each one has its own bias. I was, for a very very long time an avid CNN viewer, literally the TV would be on CNN when I got home from work and stay there. Until the 2008 elections. I could not believe how much CNN backed the Democratic party. Almost to a point of annoyance.
