Human Rights, dollars.....
Hillary Clinton spent her recent days convincing China that the US was still a sound investment, because without China we can't continue to run our stimulus packages. Someone has to buy US debt and fund these things, T-bills can't do it all on their own.
So in her discussions she waived all her concerns on human rights for the idea of convincing China to assist the US and that the US was still a safe bet.
I'm curious why this isn't deeply concerning to some liberals. I'm sure if Bush had urged a deal that dropped human rights in the face of dollars, it would be a colossal topic.
