GM needs to get in touch with Reality- making $3800/hr isn't enough.
The CEO of GM was paid 7.7M in 2011, less than 2M was salary the rest came as cash on stock value. Now consider that he was suppose to make 9M but the stock value fell (fell, indicating the value of the company went down). Since GM wouldn't exist today if Obama hadn't bailed them out with tax payer money in 2008, GM has to file annual salary docs with the Government. Well, in this weeks filing GM showed its CEO salary and then had the unmitigated gall to say they were at a competitive disadvantage. That's right, they said their CEO's should make more than 7M a year. The important part to note is who they compared themselves to: Ford, HP and Honeywell - companies that received no Government money. GM seems to have forgotten that they are a competitive disadvantage for the United States. If you don't want the pay package for the job, Quit!
