Statistical Analysis vs. Profiling

Everyone from Congressman to the media throws around 'profiling' as if it some antiquated racist event that needs destroyed; in reality it is statistical analysis that leads law enforcement to 'profile' in most cases:

Statistical analysis is derived from data analysis (the study of 'data'), and it involves collecting and scrutinizing massive data samples and condition to define a logical probability of result. It is a representation drawn from a population that is continuously recalculated.

Profiling is appending characteristics to a narrative based on no scientific fact other than that of gender, race, education or other generally physical characteristic.

If 'profiling' truly was what law enforcement did, then you would routinely across all segments of the country, see specific people pulled over, stopped and detained without cause. This is simply, not true. No matter of media manipulation can make it true.

Facts:

1) More white men are killed by Police enforcement than any other race or gender.
2) Urban city homicide is primarily the result of black on black crime.
3) White people are more likely to be arrested for drugs.
4) Blacks kill more Police statistically than any other group.

Now, lets take the voice of those that believe 'profiling' which is actually statistical analysis should stop - here is a scenario.

You have a 5 year old daughter. She is raped. She describes the person as a white male on "XYZ Street". On "XYZ Street there are 10 residences, 9 of which are owned by non-whites, 1 is occupied by a transient white male. In this new-world order, you would what? Wish the cops to check door to door before addressing the white male? That would be profiling..wouldn't it? You're only going after him because he is white? Aren't you? Most people would say "no, go find the white person per the description" - however, when the race isn't white, the story seems far different.

There is inherent racism in dictating rules and guidance based only on color or gender. The United States continues to put more emphasis on minorities than it does majorities in direct counter to the founding of a Nation. Martin Luther King Jr. offered 'judge me not by the color of my skin, but the content of my character", "on my merits, not those of my father" - yet this is all lost when it comes to jading and slanting a table in someones favor. I offer that is why America is seeing the recent turmoil of the last 5+ years.
